Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist - Home Health

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Description

• Provide occupational therapy services in a home health setting.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Productivity expectation: 30 points per week.
• Call requirement: May be asked to sign up for on-call as needed.
• Weekend work: Possible but generally Monday through Friday.
• Patient population: Geriatric patients.
• Local candidates are welcome.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Maryland.
• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Experience in a Home Care setting.
• Experience with OASIS documentation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and other standard screenings.
• Proof of identity and eligibility to work.
• Compliance with health and safety documentation such as:

  • Physical exam within the last 12 months.
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the last year.
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
  • Drug screening within one year.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption.
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Completion of competency exams and orientation safety acknowledgements as required.

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Candidates may be asked to complete facility-specific forms and documentation.
• On-site fit testing for N95 masks may be available if needed.
