Job Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (ICU)
- Unit: Neuro ICU (Neuro Unit)
- Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Days)
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Charting System: Epic
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel assignment
- ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- CHEMO certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- MAB (Medication Administration by Blood) certification
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Important Notes
- Candidates residing in certain counties in Texas are not eligible for this assignment.
- Annual competency exams and unit-specific skills checklists are required.
- Orientation and safety manual acknowledgments must be completed.
This position is ideal for experienced Neuro ICU RNs who have prior travel contract experience and meet the above certification and licensure requirements.
