X-Ray Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Columbia, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Night shift: 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM, 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts, total 36 hours/week)
• Work includes holidays and rotating shifts, including inclement weather conditions
• Work settings: Emergency Department (ED), Inpatient, Operating Room (OR)
• Trauma Level 1 center experience required
• Patient age groups: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Experience with Siemens, McKesson, or GE systems preferred
• Physical demands: Active role requiring ambulation, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs
• Must be able to work assigned weekends, take call, and work at least 50% of holidays during contract

Required Qualifications

• Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Experience in an Inpatient setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or ARC Provider card)

Additional Requirements

• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement and HIPAA compliance required
• Competency exams as applicable to specialty
• MO Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) or MO Caregiver search must be on file within 60 days before starting
• Photo for badge required for new candidates only
• Must be able to work full term at assigned location

Notes

• First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience not required)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required for ER RNs starting 11/5/2024 (not mandatory for this role)
• Candidates may be exposed to contagious illnesses; appropriate precautions expected
