Position Details
- Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Location: Anchorage, Alaska
- Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours (variable), primarily day shift 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks)
- On-Call: 24/7 call coverage shared among team; 1 weekend on-call per month required (no weekend shifts, only on-call)
- Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Locals: Not accepted; candidate’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an EEG Technologist
- EEG Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- REEGT (Registered EEG Technologist) certification
Documentation and Compliance
- Employment application covering last 5 years required
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
- Education verification required
- Background checks include EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and state-specific searches as applicable
- Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS required
- Badge photo (passport style with neutral background) required
- Facility-specific float policy acknowledgment required
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be prepared for 24/7 call coverage and occasional weekend on-call duties
- No floating outside of scope or block scheduling flexibility
- Must comply with all state and facility-specific background and credentialing requirements
- This is a travel assignment; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
