Occupational Therapist - Acute Care Hospital (Travel/Contract)

Location: Cookeville, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Occupational Therapist for Acute Rehab (Inpatient Rehab)
• Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Hours per week: 40 hours
• Patient load: Typically 6-7 patients per day
• Weekend requirement: Occasional every other Saturday (half day)
• Start date: ASAP
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification as required (ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense)

Additional Requirements

• No on-call duties required
• Locals accepted within 35 miles
• No pending license acceptance
• No specific block schedule accommodation noted

Orientation and Competency

• Must review and acknowledge facility-specific orientation materials and safety manuals
• Pass/fail medication and competency exams as applicable

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
• Candidates must comply with all facility-specific policies including COVID and flu vaccination protocols.
