Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Columbia, Missouri
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Alternating weekends and holidays required
Floating required between the ED and ED Observation

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS
TNCC

Preferred Qualifications

Work Setting

Level I trauma, stroke, and STEMI emergency department
Pediatric ED is located within the main ED

Additional Notes

This role involves working in a high-acuity, 24/7 clinical environment
Physical demands include ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs
Contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses is expected
Ability to work assigned weekends, holidays, call, and rotating shifts is part of the role
