Job Opportunity: Infusion Registered Nurse

Location: San Francisco, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Specialty: Infusion Nursing
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an Infusion Center
Preferred Experience: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Required Certifications:
- California RN License
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 2 years of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Chemotherapy certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Candidates must provide a current and valid driver’s license, government photo ID, or US Passport matching professional license identity
Background checks must be renewed annually
Education verification or copy of diploma/transcript required
Pass/Fail testing includes ECG/Telemetry knowledge and medication competency
COVID-19 vaccination is strongly recommended but not required as of current guidelines
Candidates must complete facility-specific learning modules prior to or on the first day of orientation
Annual TB questionnaire required within 30 days of start to assess need for renewed TB testing
Candidates must complete facility-required cybersecurity and HIPAA training with passing scores
Physical exam and fit mask testing must be current and compliant with facility standards
Candidates must review and acknowledge facility policies on parking, uniform, and COVID-19 preparedness prior to start
