NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Patient Ratio: 1:3
Work Environment: Busy, high-volume Level III-IV NICU in a hospital with a neonatal transport team
Floating: May float to Pediatrics (PEDS) or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) caring for infants 6 months or younger, including NICU overflow Level II patients
Weekend Shifts: 6 weekend shifts per contract
No on-call required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, including experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
