NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Patient Ratio: 1:3
- Work Environment: Busy, high-volume Level III-IV NICU in a hospital with a neonatal transport team
- Floating: May float to Pediatrics (PEDS) or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) caring for infants 6 months or younger, including NICU overflow Level II patients
- Weekend Shifts: 6 weekend shifts per contract
- No on-call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, including experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
