Registered Nurse - Rehab (Travel/Contract)

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Hours per week: 36
• EMR System: Meditech
• Facility Type: Magnet, Major Teaching, Level I Trauma Center
• Uniform Scrub Color: Royal blue/white
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
• Start Date: ASAP
• Geographic Restriction: Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility (no local applicants)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried during hours of service
• Criminal background check required within 6 months prior to start (or within 30 days for new candidates)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and for contract renewals
• NURSYS verification required for RN license
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands of the position
• Immunizations and titers required or facility-specific declination forms for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer or vaccine series)
  • Varicella
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; TB questionnaire required for positive responders
• Drug testing: 10-panel within 6 months prior to start (or within 30 days for new candidates); instant tests not accepted
• Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific declination required year-round
• COVID vaccination or facility-specific declination required
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completion of facility-specific Relias training modules (~81 modules) prior to first shift and orientation
• Badge photo required (no hats, sunglasses, filters, or altered images)
• Signed job description and confidentiality agreements required

• Candidates must submit Return to Office (RTO) documentation with application
• Facility does not accept annual background check updates; specific expiration rules apply
• Orientation may include up to 8 hours of training
• Strict documentation and evaluation requirements for candidates with prior agency assignments or employment history at the facility
