Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Call Requirement: Every 4th day and 1 weekend per month
Holiday Requirement: 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications:
- ARRT(R) or RCIS
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- LSRT (temporary LSRT accepted; issued within 3-5 days after fee payment and proof of ARRT)
Experience with Epic software
Required Equipment Experience:
- Philips Single plane/bi plane
- Inari
- Pembra
- Pounce
- Impella
- IABP US CSI Shockwave
- Rotoblade
- IVUS (Boston, Philips)
- Carto Abbott
- X-Per

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Unexpired government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
Background check within the past year including:
- SSN Trace
- 7-year county residency check
- Nationwide search
- Sex offender search
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
Attestation acknowledging possible pending background check results at start
Photo for badge (passport-style with solid background)
TB Questionnaire required
MMR and Varicella attestations required
Pending drug screen attestation required

Additional Information

Hospital provides scrubs
Drug testing and seasonal flu vaccination are not required (attestation required)
Physical exam, certain immunizations, and competency exams are not required for this assignment
Prior travel experience is not specified as required
