Registered Nurse – Endoscopy (Travel/Contract)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Work 8-hour day shifts with start times fluctuating between 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, and 8:00 AM (end times vary accordingly).
Call rotation includes every 6th or 7th weekend and potentially one weekday (Monday through Thursday).
Assigned to the endoscopy procedure room and pre/post procedure areas.
Must have experience with endoscopy equipment such as snares, biopsy tools, and basic endoscopy supplies.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa.
Minimum of 1 year of endoscopy experience, with recent experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Requirements

Completion of facility-specific learning lessons prior to start.
Annual TB questionnaire if previously positive.
Flu vaccination or approved exemption required by October 31 each flu season.
COVID-19 vaccination preferred but not required as of July 2025.
Mandatory reporter training must be completed via Iowa HHS website with certification copies provided.
SING background check must be run through Iowa State SING website within 30 days of start, including all aliases.
Physical and competency exams must be current and valid throughout the contract.

Experience

Must have endoscopy equipment experience (snares, biopsy, basic endoscopy supplies).

Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (40 hours/week).
