Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Location: Mount Vernon, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Night shift, 7:15 PM to 7:15 AM (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Call: Not required
• Floating: Required as needed within scope of practice
• EMR System: EPIC
• Start Date: ASAP
• Locals Allowed: Yes

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Washington state
• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Education verification with US equivalency documentation if education was completed outside the US
• 2 professional references completed within 1 year of start
• Completion of Washington state suicide prevention training if working under a multi-state license (compact license)

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Tdap vaccine or signed declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
• Annual TB questionnaire completion
• Documentation of immunity or vaccination for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (3 doses or signed declination)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined during flu season)
• 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Photo for badge and completion of facility-specific confidentiality, crime disclosure, conflict of interest, and compliance documents
