Location: Pomona, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (client may cancel up to 3 shifts during assignment)
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- On-call: No
- Floating: Yes, may float within scope to other ICU/Telemetry units as well as Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
- Block Schedule Requests: Not accommodated
- Locals Accepted: Yes
- Pending License Accepted: No
- Return to Office (RTO): Up to 5 days allowed, 1 holiday approved off
- Missed Shifts: Three missed shifts may result in assignment cancellation
Experience & Certifications
- Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse
- First-time Travelers: Accepted
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
- NIH Stroke Certification (valid within 2 years)

- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- CCRN (Critical Care RN) - Preferred for ER and Interventional Radiology
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - Preferred for ER
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC) for Oncology RNs
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) for ER RNs
Facility Policies & Requirements
- Dress Code: Solid colored scrubs only; no camouflage, jean texture, or character patterns
- Badge Photo: Passport-like photo on plain blue background required within 72 hours of signing
- Modules: Completion of facility-specific training modules via WorkRamp platform required prior to start
- Float Policy: Must review and sign if working in Critical Care/ICU or DOU/Telemetry/Stepdown units
- Orientation Packet: Must review and sign prior to start
- Timekeeping & Responsibility Acknowledgments: Required prior to start
- Job Description: Must review and sign prior to start
- Patient Portal Updates & Campus Map: For review only
Background & Documentation Requirements
- Background check covering last 7 years, including Social Security Address Check (last 15 years), National Criminal Search, Sex Offender Search, Education Verification, and International searches if applicable
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days prior to start
- Complete 15 years of work history on application, including locations and any time off
- Two professional references required, including one from most recent experience
- State license primary source verification within 30 days of start (active and valid)
- NURSYS verification for RNs
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start, cleared to work without restrictions
- Fit mask test required (specific approved masks)
- Tdap vaccine or declination within 10 years (Td not accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility protocol
- TB questionnaire required for all candidates
- Immunity or vaccination records for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Hepatitis C
- Drug screen: Negative 10-panel within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
- Annual flu vaccination or facility-specific declination required
- COVID-19 vaccination or facility-specific declination required
Competency Requirements
- Annual medication/pharmacology competency exam with minimum 80% score
- Annual general competency exam with minimum 80% score
