Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Santa Rosa, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Overview

  • Employment Type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8 AM - 5 PM)

Experience Requirements

Background & Compliance Requirements

  • 7-year background check including SSN trace, county searches, sex offender search, education verification, motor vehicle report (for driving roles), and FACIS Level 3 screening
  • Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per CA law)
  • Employment history verification: Full 7 years of work history with no gaps over 30 days; verification required
  • Professional references: 2 professional references within 3 years (Aya requirement)
  • Education verification: Highest level of education verified; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Physical exam: Required within 1 year of start
  • Fit mask test: Required within 1 year, renewed annually (exceptions apply)
  • Immunizations and health screenings:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days, renewed annually
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series or declination
    • Varicella immunity or vaccination
    • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov-April) or signed declination
  • Respiratory safety clearance: Required and renewed annually (exceptions apply)
  • Compliance with facility-specific documents including job description review, standards of business conduct, code of conduct, vendor training, and others prior to start
