Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in specialty
First-time Travelers: Not accepted
Weekend Requirement: Work every third weekend
On-call: Not required
Floating: May float within scope as needed
Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
Local Candidates: Not accepted (within 100-mile radius)
Pending License: Accepted
Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Certifications Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or ARC only, RQI acceptable
BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC only, RQI acceptable
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA or ARC only, PEARS acceptable in lieu of PALS
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – AHA/AAP only
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – as applicable
Other certifications as applicable per unit/job description

Background & Compliance Requirements

Criminal background check within 1 year required (7-year MN statewide search plus other checks)
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 1 year
Transcript/Diploma verification as applicable
Minnesota DHS Net Study Fingerprint clearance required before start (no fingerprints pending allowed)
Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
Immunizations and health documents required:
- Adult Tdap (no declinations accepted without exemption approval)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 12 months)
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required
- Hepatitis B: Positive IGG titer, proof of series, or signed declination
- Varicella: Positive IGG titer or 2 vaccines required
- Seasonal Flu vaccination documentation required for 2025-26 season (declinations accepted)
Drug testing: 9-panel within 1 year (not required for client clearance)
OSHA Respiratory Safety clearance required prior to start for fit testing

Completion of facility-specific pre-orientation online modules within 72 hours of login (3-9 hours depending on specialty)
Passport-style photo for badge required within 48 hours of signing contract

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
Candidates must be able to work every third weekend and float as needed.
This is a travel/contract position with a 13-week assignment length.
Candidates with less than 2 years of specialty experience or first-time travelers will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a critical access, level 4 trauma center with a small, dedicated team using advanced equipment and procedures in a step-down unit setting.
