Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

  • Shift: 10-hour shifts (08:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

Specialty & Responsibilities

  • Nursing care in Radiology department including prep and recovery of procedural patients
  • Moderate sedation in Interventional Radiology for CT, US, and IR cases
  • Care for both inpatient and outpatient
  • MRI monitoring of pacemaker patients
  • Anxiolysis for exams and medication administration for nuclear medicine patients
  • Anesthesia for select patients
  • Procedures include biopsies, tubes, lines, drains, lytics, thrombectomies, neuro, body, vascular, liver embolizations
  • Use of Air pal for safe patient movement in IR rooms, ceiling lift in CT rooms, NK monitors with EtCO2 monitoring
  • Epic charting experience required

Required Certifications

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or ARC only, RQI acceptable, certificate of completion not accepted
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC only, RQI acceptable, certificate of completion not accepted

Licensure & Background Requirements

  • Primary source verification of license required
  • Minnesota state license required (pending license accepted)
  • Criminal background check required within 1 year of start date (7-year MN statewide search plus other checks)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 1 year of start
  • MN DHS Net Study Fingerprint clearance required before start (no starts with fingerprints pending unless approved “more time needed” letter)
  • Physical exam within 12 months prior to start required
  • Drug testing (9 panel) within 1 year required (not required for client clearance)

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Adult Tdap vaccine required (declinations not accepted; exemptions accepted with approval)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (TB results can pend at start but must be on file within 3 days)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required (no exemptions accepted for patient-facing roles)
  • Hepatitis B: Positive IGG titer, proof of series, or signed declination required
  • Varicella: Positive IGG titer or 2 vaccines required (no exemptions accepted)
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination required for 2025-26 season (declinations accepted, exemptions not accepted)
  • OSHA Respiratory Safety clearance required prior to start for fit testing

Competencies & Exams

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required
  • Annual Skills Checklist required

Additional Information

  • Background checks and health documents must be current and compliant with facility and state requirements
  • Online pre-orientation modules must be completed within 72 hours of receiving login credentials before clearance
  • Passport-style photo required within 48 hours of contract signing for badge issuance
