Job Opportunity: LVN / LPN - Outpatient Cardiology Clinic

Position Overview

• Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an outpatient cardiology clinic
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• Charting system: EPIC experience required
• Floating: Required within skillset
• Patient population: Adults and geriatrics
• Clinical focus: Patients newly diagnosed with cardiac disease, post cardiac procedures, and on cardiac maintenance therapy under cardiologist care

Required Experience & Skills

• Specialty: Cardiology outpatient experience including basic cardiology skills
• Core clinical duties: Rooming patients, calling in prescriptions, patient callbacks, completing patient forms

Licensure & Certifications

• Licensure:

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background check: 7-year history required within 1 year of start
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Physical exam: Within 1 year of start, free from communicable diseases
• TB testing: Negative PPD, QGold, or TSpot within 1 year; annual updates required
• Immunizations: Proof of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Fit testing: Required within 1 year and updated annually (not required for students)
• Other required documents:

  • I9 or attestation
  • Driver’s License/State ID (must be within 100 miles of facility)
