Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Rochester, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Sunday to Wednesday, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Experience Requirements

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
Prior travel experience: Not required (accepts first-time travelers)

Certifications Required

BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA Provider/Instructor/RQI acceptable
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA Provider/Instructor/RQI acceptable, as required by unit
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA Provider/Instructor/RQI acceptable, as required by unit
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as required by unit
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as required by unit
EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - as required by unit
State License Primary Source Verification within 30 days of start
NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days of start
NIH Stroke Certification (required for all RNs except birthing units & OR)
Tech Cert Verification - National (as required within 30 days of start)
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (required)

Government Issued Photo ID required
Background checks including 7-year criminal background check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
Education verification from primary source required (no hard copy degrees accepted)
Foreign equivalency education evaluation if applicable
Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
Fit mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Immunizations and titers required: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
Drug screening within 30 days of start
Flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season
Eye exam (Snellen) within 1 year of start
COVID vaccination copy preferred but not required
References (2 within 3 years) required for Aya candidates only

Work history verification required
Facility-specific documents and photo for badge required

Dress Code

Scrubs: Caribbean blue or surgical scrubs from facility

Other Notes

No local candidates within 50-mile radius accepted
Return to Office (RTO) expected within 1 week for this 13-week contract
No holidays during contract period

This position is suitable for healthcare professionals with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology, who are comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment using advanced imaging equipment and EPIC EMR. First-time travelers are welcome.
