Travel/Contract Registered Nurse — Transplant

Overview

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36 or 48 hours option available
Unit: Medical Surgical / Solid Organ Transplant

Required Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS
2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital
EPIC charting experience
Pending license accepted; if the license is not in hand at submission, the start date will be scheduled 6 weeks out
Must live more than 100 miles from the facility

Work Expectations

Travelers are first to float and must be prepared to float frequently within scope
Drips are required on all floors
First-time travelers are not accepted, unless the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period
Holiday requirement: 2 of 3 major holidays

Additional Notes

Scrubs are mandatory and must be Steele gray with the facility logo
The facility is 100% nicotine free
Parking is available for a fee
Up to 2 weeks of requested time off may be permitted, subject to approval
