Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Maryland
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (1 year of experience)
Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (N)
ARRT (R)
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NMTCB

Clinical Details

Nuclear stress tests
HIDA scans
V/Q scans
Biliary studies
Lymph injections
Amyloid studies

Work Expectations

Holidays required as scheduled
Floating required within the specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope
Every other weekend required
Weekday on-call coverage twice per week, 4 PM–10 PM
Weekend on-call coverage every other weekend, either Saturday or Sunday

Additional Notes

Black scrubs required
GE equipment, SPEC CTG850

Pros

The charge nurses and patient population is friendly.

Cons

They will short staff you every day. I got attitude multiple times when trying to take lunch 9 hours into my shift because ‘we don’t really do that here.’ Incredibly frustrating staffing levels, especially on the oncology floor.
