Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Milford, Massachusetts
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend / every other holiday
• May float to other inpatient units if needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Oncology experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology experience
• ACLS certification
• Prior experience with Epic

Unit Details

• General med surg and oncology patient population
• Must be able to read tele strips

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Valid ID
• Massachusetts statewide iCORI release authorization
• Background check
• Education verification
• Transcript or diploma documentation as allowed by the source
• MA Nurse Aide Registry search
• Statewide iCORI clearance attestation
• Medication exam
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
• Physical exam
• Drug test
• TB screening / questionnaire
• Immunization or declination documentation for MMR, hepatitis B, Tdap, varicella, flu, and COVID
• 2 references within three years
• Employment application with 7 years of employment history and explanation of gaps greater than 30 days

Notes

• Submissions with under 3 years of experience will not be accepted
• Telemetry exam is required for RNs working in telemetry-monitoring units
• May be required to complete a module in Workday on site in lieu of CPI certification
