Respiratory Therapist

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call
• First-time travelers accepted
• RTO requests must be approved by the facility and included with submission

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Adult Critical Care experience
• Emergency Department experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Work Environment

• Special equipment includes Hamilton G5, PB 980, Respironics V60, Optiflow, Lumis tx, Cough Assist, Vest, and IPV
• Scrub color: dark grey

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Background check required within 30 days of start
• Fingerprinting required within 90 days of start
• State-specific search required within 30 days of start
• Child abuse search required within 90 days of start
• References: minimum of 2 professional references from employment within 12 months of start
• Employment application required with 7 years of work history and explanations for gaps over 90 days
• Physical exam within 2 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray required
• Drug screen required within 60 days of start
• COVID-19 vaccination or declination required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Tdap within 10 years of start required
• Fit test / respirator clearance required
• Pennsylvania child abuse, fingerprint, PATCH, and Medicheck-related clearance items are required as part of onboarding
