Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Battle Creek, Michigan
13-week contract
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
36 or 48 hours per week available
Must be available for the first 2 weeks of assignment for orientation
Every other weekend required
Float scope: other Med Surg units
Staffing may include working with RNs, LPNs, and Techs
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed or approved at this time

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

2 years Med/Surg experience

Unit / Clinical Context

The assignment may be placed on units with a mix of medical and surgical patients, including ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, GI, urology, hysterectomies, and mastectomies
Staffing ratio is 1:5–6 on nights; ratios may flex to 7–8 with RN paired with LPN support
