Overview

• Travel/contract role in New Port Richey, Florida
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Day shift, 5x8 hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Contract length: 20 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Home Health (1 year of experience)
• Home Health experience within the last year
• Skilled home care experience
• OASIS training and experience
• Experience with OASIS
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• IV skills
• Cardiopulmonary assessment
• ABI compression dressing
• Wound vac dressing
• Pleurx/Aseptdrain care
• Foley catheter change and care
• Staple/suture removal
• Glucometer use

• IV skills
• Wound care
• General medical diagnoses
• High-risk diagnoses: HF, COPD, MI, Pneumonia, Stroke
• Post-op care
• Cardiopulmonary assessment
• Basic wound care
• ABI compression dressing
• Wound vac dressing
• Pleurx / Aseptdrain care
• Foley catheter change and care
• Staple/suture removal
• Glucometer use
• Pro-time machine use
• SQ/IM injections
• Lab draw venipuncture
• PICC line or Midline care and dressing change
• SQ port access/deaccess

Assignment Details

• Skilled Home Care setting
• Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial insurance patients
• 6–8 home skilled visits per day
• Visits and hours are self-scheduled based on HomeCare office needs
• Day/shift hours may vary to meet office needs

Additional Notes

• Scrubs: any solid color
• Laptop, MiFi for internet access, and portable printers are used for the assignment
