Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Nashville, Tennessee
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- This position is on the locked incarcerated unit; travelers must be comfortable with the prison population
- Float required to other MS/Tele units, including forensics, inpatient units, and potentially ICU
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience required
- Accepts first-time travelers
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Certification
- CPI, with MAB accepted in lieu of CPI
- RN license
- NURSYS verification required for RNs
Preferred
- Locals accepted at the same rate
Scheduling Notes
- For contracts beginning in September, RTO will not be approved for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day
- Contract nurses are expected to work 3 of those 6 holidays
- September-start contracts should extend into the new year to ensure holiday coverage
