- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Unit / Setting
- Free-standing ED
- No RT or pharmacy on site
- RN does RT role and pharmacy
- 15% pediatric patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- NIHSS
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- Experience with bedside tracheostomy
- Experience with transcutaneous pacing
- Experience with bedside procedures
- Experience with conscious or moderate sedation
- Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) capability
- Experience with central line management
- Experience with the Belmont rapid infuser
- Experience with ventilator management
- Experience with feeding tube management
- Experience with arterial lines
Experience / Eligibility Notes
- Perm candidates from other Providence facilities outside Swedish are eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months
- All Swedish facilities honor active compact license
