Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Atlanta, Georgia
- 16-week contract
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekend only: Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- Variable call shifts on weekend shift only
- Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Outpatient as needed
- Locals accepted at the same rate
Role Details
- Operating Room role
- Service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
- This is a sensitive unit assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with General Surgery patients
- Neurology experience
- Transplant experience
- OB/GYN experience
- Orthopedics experience
- ACLS required
- BLS required
Preferred
- None stated
Schedule / Time Off
- No holiday RTO will be approved
- Blackout dates: 11/23-11/29 and 12/21-1/3
- Maximum RTO: 7 days
Compliance / Start Requirements
- Full compliance required to start on time
- Background check must be complete before start
- Education verification required; may be pending at start with proof it is running and due within 30 days after start
- Photo ID required
- Physical exam required within 12 months of start
- Negative TB or chest X-ray required
- TB questionnaire required
- Drug screen required within 60 days of start
- Flu vaccine or declination required
- 2 clinical references required
- Skills checklist required within 12 months and updated annually
- Work history verification of most recent employer required
