Unit Information

• Unit Type: Observation Unit / Inpatient
• Bed Capacity: 8 beds
• Staffing: 2 RNs on each shift, 1:4 patient ratio
• Patient Conditions: Anemia, Cellulitis, COPD, CHF, Dehydration, pre-op, Urology and GI, Drips (including Cardiac Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin)
• Average Patient Stay: Up to 48 hours
• Admissions/Discharges: High volume

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • Wisconsin RN License
  • BLS
  • ACLS (must pass an EKG exam during compliance)
• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years
  • At least 1 travel assignment required
• Charting Experience: EPIC required
• Desired Skills:

  • Hard worker, resilient, and adaptable to change
  • Ability to manage independently and complete tasks timely
  • Willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team and ancillary staff
  • Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes

• RADIUS RULE: Traveler must be outside 50 miles from the facility
