Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Location: Neenah, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (start time 5:30 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend, holiday rotation
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Details

• Work on a Medical/Surgical 6th Floor unit
• Float within the facility and to other nearby facilities within a 60-mile radius, based on skillset
• Patient ratio approximately 1:5 during day shifts
• Primary patient cases include trauma surgical, neurological, and orthopedic patients
• Charting experience with EPIC within the last 2 years is required
• Orientation: 8-hour unbillable orientation

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Minimum 3+ years experience as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2+ years experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Neuro/Ortho trauma experience is required
• Ability to manage change well, resilient, and a strong work ethic
