Overview

• Travel assignment in Pikeville, Kentucky
• 8-week contract
• Start ASAP
• 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• No blocked scheduling
• Every other weekend and holiday required unless time off is approved
• Primary unit: Surgical/Ortho Unit
• Float scope: Med Surg/Tele units and all in-patient areas; may be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance
• 75-mile radius rule applies

Required Qualifications

• KY or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• EKG test required during compliance
• 1 year as an RN in specialty
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• Must be able to read and interpret tele strips

Preferred

• Care View/EPIC charting experience

Unit Details

• 340-bed Level II Trauma Center
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Bed count on assignment units: 15-45 beds depending on unit

• COVID vaccine required unless medical or religious declination is approved; if declined, weekly testing is required at traveler/agency expense
• Scrub color: black
