Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Neonatal (NICU)
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours per week (no guarantee of blocked scheduling)
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Float Requirements: May float to critical care and pediatric units in rotation with other staff
- On Call/Call-Back: None
Unit Information
- Level IV NICU, 70-bed unit with all private rooms
- Only Level IV NICU in the state co-located with a birth center
- Cares for over 750 infants annually with various health conditions
Requirements
- Education: ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing)
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Wisconsin or Compact RN License required
- AHA BLS and NRP required
- AHA PALS preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years NICU experience (Level 4 NICU experience required)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Experience with CPAP, tracheostomy care, high flow oxygen, etc.
- Charting/Equipment: EPIC system experience required
- Other: Flu vaccine required or willingness to obtain
