• Morristown, New Jersey

Schedule

• Thursday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Echo Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Echo Technologist experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• ARDMS or CCI
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Proficiency in valvular assessment
• Strong spectral Doppler skills
• Pedoff skills
• Experience with agitated saline studies
• Experience using Philips ie33 systems
• Experience using Epiq systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology Program
• TEE experience
• Stress echo experience
• Familiarity with 3D echo imaging
• Experience with TAVR, Mitral Clip, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, VAD, and closure device protocols
• Familiarity with Philips ie33 and Epiq systems
• Familiarity with Epic hospital information system

Job Duties

• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and explain procedures clearly
• Perform ultrasound procedures and monitor patients during the process
• Set up equipment for procedures
• Review prior reports, images, and patient charts
• Confirm appropriate images and complete studies
• Notify the reader when needed
• Maintain exam records and logs
• Manage inventory and supply purchases for the assigned area
• Perform other related duties as assigned
