Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Modified Care Unit

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 3rd shift (night)
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend, float as needed

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for adult patients in an inpatient setting. The role requires competency in cardiac telemetry care and managing patients with conditions such as myocardial infarction (MI), congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), strokes, stable arrhythmias, and other patients requiring close cardiac monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)

Additional Information

• This position involves working primarily night shifts (3rd shift) with a 12-hour shift length.
• Floating to other units as needed is part of the role.
• The patient population requires close cardiac monitoring and assessment.
