CT X-Ray Tech

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Employment Type: Clinical - Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Perform diagnostic medical radiographic examinations including Computed Tomography (CT) and diagnostic radiography (X-ray).
Participate with radiologic teams as necessary or support independently in critical access rural regional hospital settings.
Knowledgeable regarding hospital policies and procedures.
Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
New Mexico MIRTP Radiologic Technologist License with Computed Tomography (CT) designation
Primary ARRT Certification
ARRT (CT) certification
Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
High school diploma or GED is mandatory
Minimum 2 years of current experience as a CT X-Ray Technologist, including CT, diagnostic radiography, and X-ray technologist experience
CT Technologist experience within the last year
X-Ray Technician experience

Additional Information

Dosimeter badge supply and monitoring of radiation exposure is mandatory. Agencies must provide and manage dose badges (OSL or TLD), replaced and evaluated quarterly to ensure safety compliance. Failure to provide dose badges may result in contract termination.
Epic system experience is preferred but not required.
