Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: West Bend, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing - Travel)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 3rd shift (Nights)
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Job Summary

Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for primarily adult patients in an inpatient labor and delivery setting. Demonstrate clinical competence in mother/baby care and, if possible, antepartum care.

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  • Associate’s degree in Nursing (minimum)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

• Licensure:

  • Current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or a Multi-state Nursing License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)

• Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (AHA or equivalent)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required within one year of hire)
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification (NCC) (required within 18 months of hire)

• Experience:

  • Clinical competence and experience in labor and delivery nursing, including mother/baby care
  • Experience with antepartum care is a plus
