Registered Nurse - MICU
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Shift: 3rd Shift
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Summary
Provide nursing care for primarily adult patients in an inpatient critical care environment. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. May float to other ICUs, step-down units, or acute care units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Additional Information
- This position involves working in a Level 1 trauma center environment.
- Floating to other intensive care units, step-down units, or acute care units may be necessary.
This role is suited for experienced critical care RNs with MICU background and travel nursing experience who are comfortable working night shifts and adapting to multiple critical care settings.
