Job Opportunity: RN UP - OB Inpatient

Job Description

• Perform all responsibilities and duties specific to the unit's scope of service.
• Implement procedures and theories related to obstetric inpatient nursing practice.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care to support the healthcare team.
• Complete initial patient assessments upon admission and develop appropriate plans of care based on patient and family needs.
• Implement and modify plans of care and nursing interventions through continuous evaluation.
• Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting or correcting hazards and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to resolve issues and support professional development.
• Identify personal learning needs and take initiative for improvement.
• Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.
• Provide patient assessments, infant care, medication administration per physician orders, and document all care in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Contract Length

• Approximately 13 weeks (89 days rounded to nearest week).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
