Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Job Description
- Care for a complex medical oncology population
- Step-down unit experience highly preferred
- Interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias required
- Expert in chemotherapy administration and monitoring side effects
- Provide high-level respiratory care including tracheostomies, chest tubes, Airvo, CPAP/BiPAP
- Ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions and multitask in critical situations
- Experience with end-of-life care and hospice
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- Oncology Certified Nurse (UHS ONC)
- Step-down unit experience
- Competency in interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias
- Proficient in respiratory care including tracheostomies, chest tubes, Airvo, CPAP/BiPAP
