Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical/Trauma ICU, PM Shift

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts, 3 shifts/week, 36 hours total)
Unit: 34 Bed Surgical & Trauma ICU
Patient Population: Surgical, Trauma, and Transplant (Kidney, Liver, Pancreas)
Staffing Ratios: Typically 1:2, occasionally 1:3 for low acuity
Floating: Expected to float to other equivalent ICU and Stepdown units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Trauma Intensive Care (STICU) experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Experience working with adult patients
• 1 year of travel nursing experience
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification
• Experience with Epic EMR/charting
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Experience

• Surgical ICU or Trauma ICU experience

• Work schedule includes every other weekend
• Candidate must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with trauma and transplant patients
• Floating to other ICU and Stepdown units may be required based on staffing needs
