MRI Technician

Location: Canal Winchester, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Days, Monday through Thursday
• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Shift hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description

Perform MRI technician duties during day shifts as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid MRI Technician license/certification as required by the state of Ohio
• American Heart Association BLS certification

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year

Health & Safety Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccine proof including booster (or approved exemption/declination where allowed)
• MMR vaccination proof or immunity titer
• Hepatitis B vaccination series initiated prior to start (titers not accepted)
• Influenza vaccine proof or approved exemption/declination (seasonal)
• Varicella vaccination proof or immunity titer
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA TB test (with chest x-ray if positive, per regional requirements)
• Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
• Fit test for respiratory protection

Drug Screening

• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (including methadone, phencyclidine, benzodiazepines, cocaine, propoxyphene, amphetamines, opiates, 6-acetyl morphine, methaqualone, barbiturates)
• No THC allowed

Background & Compliance

• Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification (dated within 30 days of start)
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
• Exclusion and sanction checks (EPLS, OIG, NSO) dated within 30 days of start
• Signed confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of conduct, and integrity/audit forms
• Specialty-specific competency testing within the last year
• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
• System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
• Standard I-9 completed by agency

Additional Testing

• Color vision test

• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
• All documentation must be uploaded to the agency’s credentialing system prior to or at onboarding.
• Declinations for vaccines are not accepted in CA or IL (not applicable here but noted).
