Job Opportunity: Infusion Nurse

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
• Minimum of 1 year of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• RN IV certification

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Current fit test.
• Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing completed within the last year.
• Trinity Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors).
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC).
• Immunizations and Health History:

  • COVID-19 vaccine with booster proof or approved exemption (valid through October 2026).
  • MMR: Proof of two vaccinations or immunity titer.
  • Hepatitis B: At least first vaccination in series completed prior to start.
  • Varicella: Proof of vaccination or immunity titer.
  • Tdap: Current vaccine or accepted declination if no pediatric interaction.
  • Influenza vaccine is optional.
  • Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test; if positive, chest x-ray per regional requirements.
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.

Background and Professional Screening

• Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering the last 7 years, including SSN verification and alias checks, dated within 30 days of start.
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma.
• Exclusion screenings including:

  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check.
  • OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check.
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) registry check, including state-specific checks for Iowa.
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure form.
• Code of Conduct form.
• Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement.
• Integrity and Audit Services form.
• Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only).
• OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions screening within 30 days of start.
• Completion of standard I-9 employment eligibility verification.
• System Access Form completed and uploaded one week prior to start.
