Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a Medical/Surgical unit.
May float to other units as needed.
Occasional charge nurse responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York.
Minimum 3 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
8 hours of Stroke Training.
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Additional Information

COVID-19 vaccine proof or agency declination is optional but recommended.
Annual requirements include physical, fit test, TB test, and influenza vaccine or declination.
Must inform agency immediately of any failed fit tests.
PAPR respirator provided if needed; fit testing can be done on-site.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

This position offers a 13-week long-term assignment on a day shift with opportunities to float to other units and occasional leadership duties.
