Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU (Nights)

Location: Pontiac, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Step-down Unit (SDU) within an Intermediate Intensive Care Unit setting.
Care for critically ill patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric.
Manage a variety of patient diagnoses including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical cases.
Maintain professional nursing standards.
Supervise CNA/SNA, LPN, or other healthcare workers as assigned.
Frequent floating to Step-down unit is expected.
Shift: Nights

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience.
Valid Michigan RN license verification required.
Skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required.
Physical copies of certifications only required if specifically listed.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel experience preferred but not required.

Additional Information

RN to patient ratio: 1:2 in ICU, 1:4 in Step-down.
Dress code: Grey scrubs (any shade).
Immediate start needed.
