Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Knoxville, Tennessee
• 13-week contract
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM
• On-call: 4 nights (11 PM–7 AM) every 6 weeks and 2 weekend 12-hour shifts every 6 weeks
• Auto offer with bi-weekly orientations

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date
• 7-year work history
• 2 supervisory references
• Unit-specific skills checklist within the last year
• Employment application must list nursing license state, license number, and expiration date, with no expired licenses shown
• Color blind testing within 12 months prior to start date
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam
• Core Part I
• Core Part II
• Core Part III
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam within 12 months of start and score 80% or higher
• Drivers License/State ID in color and current
• Background check
• SSN trace
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Drug testing within 45 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption for applicable start dates
• MMR documentation
• Rubeola (Measles) documentation
• Mumps documentation
• Rubella documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella documentation
• Photo for badge
• Onboarding attestation
• Onboarding documents review
• Job description acknowledgment
• Background Check Alias Name Attestation if needed
• Utility bill, mortgage statement, or lease showing address more than 75 miles from the facility for local status determination

• Local pay is $10 less than the traveler bill rate
