Pediatrics RN Travel Contract

Location

Charlotte, North Carolina

Contract Details

Travel/contract role
20-week contract
36 hours per week
Day shift, 3x12 hours: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Pediatrics (2 years of experience)
Pediatrics experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

IV start and lab draw experience
Chemotherapy experience and certification

Schedule and Unit Expectations

No call required
Every other weekend required
Self-scheduling
Float to PICU and NICU
Target ratio: 1:5-6

Patient Population

Ages 0-17
Medical-surgical and hematology/oncology patients

Orientation and Training

24 hours of unit orientation
Must be available for classes each day during the first week of hospital orientation

Additional Notes

Local candidates accepted
RTO after booking is not allowed
Up to 7 days of RTO may be allowed for auto-offer consideration
Scrubs are not provided; required attire is fun kid tops and navy pants
