Registered Nurse — MS/Tele

Overview

Travel/contract role in Greensboro, North Carolina
26-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Primarily medical-surgical patient population on a telemetry-capable unit
Required to work Charge RN shifts as needed
Float required across facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Experience in Charge roles
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Clinical Expectations

1:6 patient ratio
Use of Rapid Response teams
Blood product administration
Peripheral line care management
Starting IVs
Heparin, insulin, and PCA administration
Nasal cannula use
Isolation precautions
