Job Overview

• Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
• Employment type: Travel/Contract

• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Urology experience
• Trauma experience
• Orthopedics experience
• ENT Surgery experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification

Compliance and Onboarding Requirements

• Background check covering the past 7 years, including all locations lived and worked, all aliases, and required searches
• Education verification for highest level completed
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Missouri state-specific search
• NURSYS verification
• National tech certification verification
• EPIC pass/fail testing and EKG/medication pass/fail testing
• Color blindness testing
• Competency and medication/pharmacology testing as applicable
• Clear passport-style photo for badge
• Influenza verification form, with exemption forms if applicable
• E-learning completion and transcript submission
• Employment application
• 2 professional references
• Annual skills checklist

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Mask fit test within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or clear chest X-ray, plus annual TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or exemption documentation for the current flu season
• Tdap required for NICU and Family Birthplace placements only

Notes

• BLS is required; ACLS is preferred
• 75-mile radius rule applies
