Job Opportunity: Registered Behavior Technician

Location: Elizabeth, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: Approximately 6 weeks

Job Description

• 37.5 billable hours per week
• Must have Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification in hand
• Minimum of 1 year of school-based experience required
• Must have CPI certification or be willing to obtain CPI certification during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Behavior Technician Certification
• At least 1 year of experience working in a school-based setting
• CPI certification (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or willingness to obtain it during onboarding

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Candidates must provide and maintain the following (as applicable):

• Valid government-issued photo ID (unexpired)
• Background checks including criminal background within 1 year and updated annually
• Fingerprinting compliant with Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI/FBI) requirements (fingerprinting will be handled)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (if applicable to discipline)
• Educational Services - Mandatory Reporter training (must be updated annually)
• Colorado-specific release authorizations and verifications as required for school employment
• State teaching credentials or Temporary Educator Eligibility (TEE) verification if applicable
• FERPA acknowledgment (updated annually)
• Other state and school-specific compliance documents as required

Additional Notes

• Drug testing, physical exams, and certain immunizations are generally not required unless specifically requested by the client or state.
• Competency exams are not required unless mandated by the school.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
