Job Opportunity: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Culver City, California

Schedule

• Rotating schedule with every other weekend and some holidays
• Monday-Friday: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Description

Provide nursing care in an outpatient urgent care setting with flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in California
• Minimum 1 year of Urgent Care experience, including experience within the last year
• Emergency Department (ED) experience
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Phlebotomy certification
• IV certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room

Required Documentation and Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check including criminal history and education verification
• Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
• Fit mask test within 1 year (N95 or equivalent)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional requirements if history of positive TB)
• Drug screening within 1 year (specific panel excluding marijuana/THC)
• Immunizations: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, and seasonal flu vaccine (mandatory during flu season)
• Professional references: 2 required, at least 1 supervisory

Certifications and Competencies

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Phlebotomy and IV certification required
• Medication and pharmacology competency exams as required by profession
• Other certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, and trauma-related courses may be relevant but not mandatory for this role

Notes for Candidates

• No RTO (return to office) requests can be accommodated during the first 2 weeks
• Must be able to work rotating shifts including weekends and some holidays
• Must comply with all health and safety policies including mandatory vaccinations and testing
• Position requires flexibility to float within the outpatient scope as needed
