Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Shift times vary: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
• No weekends required
• Holidays as needed
• No call or floating required

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• Experience with Epic system

Prior Travel Experience

• Not explicitly required

Required Licenses & Certifications

• ARRT certification (specific to Radiology Tech)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on unit (refer to unit/job description)

Additional Requirements & Information

• May care for COVID-19 patients
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Maximum Return to Office (RTO) time: 7 days

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required within 1 year of start, must be finalized prior to start
• FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must be finalized within 45 days
• Employment application and 2 professional references within 3 years required
• Education verification of highest degree required
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (Aya requirement only)
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search required within 5 years, may start with results pending but must be finalized within 45 days
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
• Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days of start (PPD not accepted)
• Vaccinations or positive titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles) – 2 doses or positive titer
  • Mumps – 2 doses or positive titer
  • Rubella – 2 doses or positive titer
  • Varicella – 2 doses or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B – positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) plus declination form if applicable
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap – within 10 years
  • Seasonal Flu vaccine required during flu season (declinations not accepted)
  • COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption/declination
• Respiratory Safety clearance required within 1 year, renewed annually

Competency & Testing Requirements

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (pass/fail) required for all RNs except OR and Home Health (may not apply to Mammography Tech)
• Skills checklist required annually

• Completion and signing of facility-specific documents including:

  • Commitment to Health & Wellness
  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality Agreement
  • Non-Employee Affidavit
  • I9 Attestation and Documentation Attestation (agency completed)
  • Hepatitis B declination form if applicable
• Completion of Learning Management System (LMS) modules for RNs and CNAs (may not apply to Mammography Tech)
• New Hire Orientation required by end of first day

This position is ideal for a Mammography Tech with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT certification, and EPIC system knowledge, seeking a 13-week travel contract in Pennsylvania with a structured weekday schedule and no weekend or call requirements.
